Canceled for 2020
We are extremely grateful to everyone who has supported the Goad’s Classic Cruise-In, benefitting Rockbridge Area Hospice, over the past decade.
After much thought and careful consideration, we’ve come to the difficult decision to cancel this year’s event scheduled on Sept. 19. BUT… the Car Raffle continues and the winning tickets will be drawn on December 1. You can buy car raffle tickets online. Ticket are $20.00 each. The first prize is a 2019 Ford F-150 and the second prize is a 2019 Chevy Trax. All proceeds from this raffle benefit Rockbridge Area Hospice.
The Goad’s Classic Cruse-In has become a favorite of car fans everywhere, and we know that this will come as a disappointment not only to the participants, but also to the spectators and supporters of this well attended event. Canceling it is not a decision we have taken lightly as this event is very important to us and the organization that it supports. Yet, with the increase in concerns around the COVID-19 virus, we feel this is the best way to proceed to keep everyone safe during this unprecedented time.
We hope that everyone who is a participant and/or fan of this event understands this was a tough call to make and we will miss seeing you this year. Please consider purchasing car raffle tickets in order to provide support to Rockbridge Area Hospice. And please plan on coming next year!
